Vilma: Alam mo naman Tita Julie, busy kami ni Ralph sa pag-a-arrange ng kasal namin. Siguro pagkatapos na lang ng marriage!

Vilma Santos doesn’t hide the fact that she’s not college-educated. And this being the case, she still managed to have one of the greatest film careers in the history of the cinema and has become one of the most honored and revered politician in recent years.
Vilma Santos may not be a master in the English language like you guys so glibly are, but at least she has grace, class and street smarts that have worked for her all these years.
BTW, what’s more pathetic is laughing at other’s people’s wrong use of the English language. That’s so last century, folks. Get over your colonial mentality, please. It’s not how correct your English is that matters, it’s what you’re saying. Some of the best thinkers in history did not speak English.

LOL two words: lighten up
these things are not meant to be taken seriously. im a linguistic fan myself, so i understand “It’s not how correct your English is that matters, it’s what you’re saying.”. take it easy man

Dude, I know it’s just for “fun.” I’m just disappointed that Filipinos like you still find this sort of thing funny. This is such unsophisticated humor. And laughing at it surely makes you feel superior about your linguistic prowess, but dude, it just makes you look stupid for even finding it funny. Evolve, dude. It’s a good thing.
September 14th, 2007 at 9:57 am
LOL funny is funny. period. as far as evolution goes, im way ahead of you brother
relax, let loose and dont expect people to like what you like and dislike what you don’t
September 25th, 2007 at 10:41 pm
